Not just a team

We're a Family.

We are a community of people who feel a sense of value and belonging. We are dedicated to working together as a team to help patients get timely supply of needed blood for their medical procedure.

Bukola Bolarinwa

Bukola is the founder of Haima Health Initiative. She started it in August 2015 after noticing the chronic shortage of blood that plagues the health care sector in Nigeria. She started by working with her family and friends to donate to sickle cell patients, but demand kept growing and she decided to make the service available to all patients in need. Lack of blood causes needless trauma to patients, increasing expenses and sometimes death. She decided to work to create the largest online blood register in Nigeria to connect blood donors to all patients for free. Bukola is also a qualified lawyer and sickle cell advocate. Her work in this field has gained her the Commonwealth Queens Young Leaders Award 2017, Future Awards 2016, and the Rotary Club Young Volunteers Award

nkechi azinge-egbiri

Nkechi is the founder of the Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF), an NGO she established with a group of young persons determined to raise awareness on Sickle Cell Disorder (SCD) and support those living with it. She currently works with the Commonwealth Youth Health Network (CYHN) in a bid to ensure improved youth involvement in health advocacy within commonwealth states. Nkechi is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and holds a masters in International Economic Law, (with Distinction) and a PhD in Law. She was presented the Queen’s Young Leaders Award and recognised as one of the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Achievers for her work on SCD.

He has a bachelors in medicine and surgery with distinction from Ebonyi state university, Abakaliki and he is a presently a member of the Nigeria medical association (NMA)

Dr. Victor Oyoyo

Dr. Victor is a qualified medical doctor working with a Health Maintenance Organization and runs a Home Healthcare Agency. From his clinical experience, things take a dire turn when blood transfusions are required due to absence of blood in the hospital blood bank and scarcity of donors especially in emergencies. Dr. Victor always hoped for a system where blood can be accessed or sought for easily and is dedicated to the immediate growth of Haima to save lives.
