Who we are
We are a team of change-makers who believe that every patient across hospitals in Nigeria deserves access to safe blood and blood product, delivered to them whenever the need arise.
We started by extending help to Sickle Cell patients in need of blood for their procedures in hospitals across Lagos State and Abuja, by linking them to willing voluntary blood donors. Then we created an online database to recruit young voluntary blood donors in order to help other patients in need of blood products for their medical procedures. Our team expanded and we spread out across more states, hosting blood drives to make sure we cover much ground in ensuring access to safe blood & blood products to all patients.
Our activities intensified when we found out that there were some patients are faced with the challenge of getting blood quickly delivered to them in the best condition when needed. This is why we started Haima Mobile – a logistic project that aim to pick up blood products from the nearest blood bank, using WHO certified storage boxes and deliver them to the hospital where it is needed, within the best possible timeframe. We also have our mobile helpline so one can approach us anytime they need help with blood requests.

Our mission is to make sure patients in hospitals across Nigeria get access to safe blood & blood pr0ducts, when they need it, no matter where they are.
Whether it is packed cells, whole blood, platelet conxcentrate, or simply picking up and delivering blood products, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.
Our Vision
We want to build a nation where safe blood products is accessible to all as soon as possible, through the culture of regular voluntary blood donation amongst young people in Nigeria.
Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster imbibe the healthy culture of regular voluntary blood donation; young people who are willing to donate blood for patients in hospitals across their local communities. We want to curb the menace of chronic blood shortage in every local community across Nigeria.
